5 Apps For Your Language Journey

Learning a new language is complex and often-times overwhelming. With so many resources available on the internet, it’s difficult to navigate your way. Here are 5 free useful apps for learning languages.

Anki:
Anki is a flashcard app available on Android, IOS, and PC. It’s no ordinary fill-in one side and then flips over to the next; it uses a smart system of keeping track of what cards you get wrong and what cards you get right to ensure you’re studying with maximum efficiency.

HelloTalk:

HelloTalk is a social platform for improving your language writing and speaking skills. You can make posts about your daily life, issues, or anything you can think about in a foreign language. Then, participants on the app can correct your grammar for you. There are also private chatrooms available for when you want to talk to people individually to practice speaking or writing. The app (available on IOS and Android) supports 150+ languages.

Tandem:
Tandem (available for IOS) is designed to train your conversational skills with native speakers. Due to the popularity of some languages on the app, you may have to wait up to 7 days to find a partner though. The app boasts over 160+ languages.

Lingodeer:
Lingodeer is an app that supports 10 popular languages like Japanese, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and more. The app has divided content such as courses that focus on grammar, conversation skills, and it even has phrasebooks for traveling. The app is available for IOS, Android, and PC.

Drops:
