Discover Barcelona

The capital of Catalonia and Spain’s second city is utterly incomparable! As one of the most versatile cities in the world, Barcelona boasts of breathtaking natural beauty, impeccable architecture, and exotic city life. There’s something to delight everyone in Barcelona. Whether you want to taste some luscious Spanish cuisines, learn the Catalan’s culture, or wish to glimpse the full allure of the inexhaustible architecture and urban beaches, you’re spoilt for choice on what to see or do in Barcelona.

When you take a trip to Barcelona, you might want to begin your jaw-dropping adventure at Sagrada Familia. You’ll marvel at the dreamlike works of incredible scale and ambition by Antoni Gaudi. Once complete, Sagrada Familia will be the tallest church building in history. The most fascinating thing about it is that it hardly resembles any religious building you’ve possibly come across. Other fascinating architecture work worth seeing is the Casa Batllo and Casa Mila.

Barcelona’s beachfront boardwalk stretches for miles. You might need an hour or more to move from Barceloneta to Diagonal Mar. Considering the spectacular panorama of the beach, the walk is worthwhile! The westernmost beaches such as Sant Sebastia are quite busy with tourists not to mention the tight lattice of trendy bars and shops. However, as you move past the Olympic port along the waterfront, there’s plenty of room to enjoy the sunset and meet Barcelona locals.

If you’re a fan of European football also known as soccer in the United States, you’ll want to check out Camp Nou. You’ll have a chance to browse the memorabilia of one of the most prestigious teams in the world. Even if you have no affinity for the team, you’ll appreciate the dizzying scale of the arena. Perhaps you can round off your Gaudi experience with a tour to Park Guell. Come and enjoy the gorgeous panorama over Barcelona from the main terrace in the park. If there’s still time, a visit to the Fundacio Joan Miro museum should give you a more vivid picture of Barcelona style and spirit.
